Description

Main aim of this project is to implement an online software application for maintaining Insurance application, for issuing bonds. Agents and the nationwide employees use surety choice application for creating the bonds and issuing to the user. Surety Choice Application helps in creating bonds between the Principal and Obligee. It has administration screen where admin users have access to add users, roles, Bond Rules, Question banks, Account types, Scoring Models and Bond configuration. Bond Configuration used to create a configuration through which we can map the questions, rules. Bonds screen used to create a transaction bond, which includes agency, add primary principals, additional principals, Obligee and based on the bond configuration selection system will render the already configured questions and rules. If bond satisfies the rules, it will be approved otherwise it will go to referred status and listed down in underwriter queue screen. Therefore, that underwriter will manually approve or reject based on some criteria. User can perform the transactions on top of newly created bond, which is called as New Business. Where it involves working on technologies stack like JAVA, J2EE, and other frameworks like spring MVC, Hibernate,JPA, AngularJs, RESTAPI Webservices, SQL, Junit, Mockito, Maven. Modules are run on WebSphere application server and CI/CD is done in GIT.

MetLife is a leading Insurance provider for life, annuity etc. CAS system is developed in java platform. Project dealt with enhancements of internal modules of an enterprise application based on client requirements. CAS application is used by underwriters for data collecting, validating and issuing the policy. Underwriter evaluates the policy details, insured details and generates the requirement depends on the information needed to issue the policy. Main aim of this project is to implement an online software application for maintaining Insurance application, we have three different systems, where data is collected from the insured and feed into the system and submitted to underwriter for review and validation of the insured where health risk and other factors are considered and premium is calculated for the insurance and policy is Issued. Submitted case is tracked and monitored in Tracking and communication system. This system will reduce manual work by data collecting and interacting with other system for medical check and validating the risk of the Insured.
