Responsibilities: Upon receipt of a support ticket I analyzed and debugged Database
Applications to determine if the solution required a data fix or the malfunction was due to a bug in
the code; hence requiring the design and programming of a permanent solution using
PROGRESS OpenEdge with the aid of the PROGRESS editor or with AppBuilder tool depending
on the specific system. All programs used a GUI interface with the exception of those which are
not interactive. All databases and applications were running on Windows servers. As part of my
duties I performed unit testing on the code as well as proper technical documentation of the
details of the solution implemented.
