IPS stands for Institutional Product Services is a project that involved working on next-gen services to improve performance for processing of files received from institutional clients and thereby helping the firm provide easy insights into calculation of various services relating to retirement funds for the professionals working in those institutions.
IPS - services is microservice based framework for processing payroll files received from institutions on every payroll cycle. The framework sets the root for providing extensibility and scalability to process numerous files in the future through decoupled architecture and cater increasing need to onboard new clients at relatively low cost and less efforts.
Responsibilities:
Worked on different user stories for automation of testing and various processes
Implemented conversion gateway to migrate legacy data to mongoDB
Implemented Standard Processing Engine to process payroll files by exploiting the distributed architecture capabilities to ensure scalability and high throughput
Designing and implementing functionality to provide required ODS data for downstream applications.
Worked on Angular 5 to build UI and demonstrate capability of developed integration module
Worked on creating validation library to validate data against mesh restrictions created onto Neo4j
Worked on transformations in Mulesoft to achieve desired output format required while onboarding clients
