The Finance Systems Roadmap (FSR) project is a multi-year initiative launched in 2008 to mitigate risk in Bank of Americas finance operations platform. FSR entails the implementation of a new integrated General Ledger (GL) application, eLedger (SAP) to replace multiple legacy ledgers that are not integrated nor viable for future bank needs. The FSR project will implement use of a new GL Code Block, which is the collection of core dimensions that define transaction data in a ledger. GL Code Block has 10 dimensions: Company Code, GL Account, Cost Center, Profit Center, Trading Partner, Product, Internal Order, Data Source, Sub-Account and Account Activity.
