Reporting to the IT Manager, I was responsible for managing the internal and external System administration.

My core responsibilities were:

  • Possess excellent organizational skills to support administrative personnel, department supervisors, staff, and clients.
  • Promote a positive work environment by maintaining respectful interactions with staff members. Performing successfully in both team and independent work environments.
  • Assist in the planning, design, documentation, and implementation of various systems which include desktop PC’s, servers, network equipment and software applications.
  • Monitor and maintain the use of the LANWT’s photocopiers and printers.
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor procedures for all server backups. Monitor, plan and coordinate the distribution of client/server software and service packs.
  • Overseeing file management on the centralized resource (i.e. File Servers, Virtualization Server, Citrix Servers and Application Server) and individual workstations.
  • Overseeing computer security and anti-virus updates etc.
  • Make recommendations for new equipment and services to purchase & co-ordinate with various vendors for procurement.
  • Provide on-site and remote technical support.
  • Assist in the organization and inventory of all hardware and software resources.
  • Provide emergency on-call support on a rotating schedule.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. Provide network and desktop support to over 100 users.
  • Provide Voice-over IP support and Design, install, upgrade, configure & repair local and WAN hardware Support Video Conference for all offices.
