The ACE Phase-2 Closeout Conversion & Business project is divided into different sets in which data for different group of contracts will be migrated from legacy mainframe platform(source) to ACE (target) platform which is Oracle and Java based via Informatica. ASR Soli project involves development, support, enhancement and unit testing of pension and non-pension applications in PL1, CICS, COBOL, EASYTRIEVE and resolving incidents or abends for ASR insurance.

The project PL1 TO ENTERPRISE PL1 MIGRATION involves doing conversion of existing PL/I programs to EPL/I(Enterprise PL/I) programs and some enhancement of PL1 and cobol code as per client requirement. This conversion is necessary as IBM will remove PL/I compiler from the IT market by 2011.

Agency and associate related information of the Statefarm are present in AIMS database(IMS-DB) as well as Associate Register(AR) database(DB2).Database migration project involves removing the IMS-DB segments(AIMS database) from the code in main module and developing logic to retrieve the same agency and associate information from equivalent DB2 tables in AR database.
