Anthem is an Insurance Provider in USA and goal is to migrate all of large group book of business from legacy platforms to WGS while retaining and enhancing the core functionality offered to members. The Conversion track is responsible for migrating Large Group of business residing on legacy including Account structure, Membership and Non-membership data (broker, limited liability).

The J. Jill Group, Inc. is a marketer of womens apparel, accessories, and gifts under the J. Jill brand, using multiple distribution channels to market its wares. The various business channels are catalogs, retail stores and Web site. MPCS (Marketing & Merchandising Planning & Control system) is a demand planning system. The system basically takes the demand for all direct offers at the department /item/color/size level and rolls up total needs, along with variable inventory (on hand + on order) to calculate a resulting open to buy or overstock. The system tracks actual demand for offers that are already forecasted and also displays plan demand for future offers, for visibility to total need of the item. MPCS has 3 major components planning, forecasting & reporting.

US Payroll application provides an easy and efficient way of an automated payroll solution which takes care of all employee deductions, Tax and other earnings. In order to run the business smoothly, various batch jobs are scheduled weekly, biweekly, monthly, quarterly and annually to validate the inbound files.

Reinsurance is insurance Companys way of spreading its own risk; insurance company will share part of its Premium with another Insurance company (Reinsurer) to avail the Risk coverage. Hence further losses are also getting shared between Insurance company and Reinsurer. eTreaty was developed to maintain a single data store for ceded, assumed, and retro-ceded treaty information. This Project eliminated redundant data entry amongst systems and provided a single source of treaty reference for external Policy Underwriting and Claims systems. eTreaty is a contract under which the reinsurer shares the risk with the ceding company.

Global Risk Management Systems (GRMS) has a series of online data (RK* - Read/Inquiry only) used for production issue research and post implementation validation of software releases by a limited group of users. This project was initiated with the goal to ensure that the access to these data is in full compliance with the AEMP 28 ONCOP Principles by limiting the access to the data by market and User id.

LISA is Volvo Parts system to create and maintain spare part information for Trucks and Buses within Volvo Group. The LISA application is the solution for handling spare part information for Trucks and Buses within Volvo Group.

VIT-Japan runs all their applications on Hitachi mainframe. Hitachi Mainframe supports unique technologies like Q, PDM II, DCCM3, HELP & NHELP. Volvo IT intends to migrate all the applications and databases from Hitachi Mainframe to IBM Mainframe. Mind Tree team was involved in migrating applications running on Hitachi mainframes to IBM mainframe

The Flight Planning system is an application running on mainframe which takes care of the flight planning needs of airlines like flight plans, upper air weather reports, navigation data, NOTAM (Notice To Air Men) etc. SITA leases this application to its customers (airlines) who login into this application through different user interfaces to process their flight plan requests or to get other information. SITA has more than 295 Airlines (customers) who make use of this application. SITA embarked on migration of this application running on mainframe to open system with the vision of reduced TCO and better scalability. The project aims at migrating application running on Mainframe to Solaris.
