About Me

I'm a serial entrepreneur having started dozens of companies in my career.  Always technology based I tend to jump into service industries where the burden of entry can be overcome by garage engineering.  Among my most successful operations ...re the burden of entry can be overcome by garage engineering.  Among my most successful operations include an ISP venture in the early nineties, started from my apartment with twelve phone lines, that sold in five years with 10,000 customers.  All of my roles involve Unix in one flavor or another since 1988, though the past ten years I have definitely settled on Ubuntu (for service machines and desktops in our office) and Alpine (for embedded systems we design).  StratusTalk, my latest VoIP venture, brings all of my network, voice, and programming together in one role.
