Worked in an investment data repository maintenance and enhancement project for client AIG.IDR data loads from file to staging, staging to ODS then ODS to Data mart .I am taking care of data mart and reconcile code enhancement/development and batch support. I use to monitor the batch closely which load data from IDR-ODS to IDR-Data mart by autosys jobs which actually call the data mart package procedures, and troubleshoot and provide short term fix by writing SQL codes by creating TFS ticket while we face issues in Data mart load every day. Find out the RCA by debugging the underlying Oracle package and procedures and working on the development/enhancement of package, procedures for permanent fix with discussing with onshore client.
After Data mart load I take care of reconcile check which compare and checks data load between File Vs Staging and staging Vs Datamart.This is also autosys job which calls package and procedures to load data into recon tables. Then I analyze breaks [discrepancies] by debugging the package procedures and communicate with business for breaks.
I create new package procedures as an enhancement discussing with business analyst and create JIL files in autosys to automate and schedule them in Dev environroment the do the unit testing. Responsible to deploy them in QA environment for user testing and finally deploy them in Prod by crating TFS ticket.
