Metis Portal- This Metis project is basically Companies Timesheet filling portal which was developed in Project Web Access 2010 (PWA) integrated with SharePoint 2010 initially later we migrated this portal to PWA 2013 with SharePoint 2013 version, This Application consists of many integration services, analytical services and reporting services along with, NET application called as RIPS, ESM-Impact. By using this we converted raw data like Task enhancements and Report releases in the form of SSRS reports, SSIS reports and excel reports. Responsibilities: Understanding & Analysis Client Requirement, Leading the team Upgrade and migration of Project Server with SharePoint instance from 2010 to 2013. To upgrade Project server with SharePoint from one patch level to next patch (e.g. : from RTM version to SP1 or latest patch) To migrate SharePoint 2007 to SharePoint 2010 or from SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint 2013. Taking Backup and Restore by using tools like Tivoli, Playbook. Perform SharePoint farm backup and SharePoint web application backup. Export import site collection, site, list or library. Deploy and Configuring SharePoint 2013 environment, Sql Server 2010 r2 and MSBI tools. Handling server down situation like SharePoint site is giving page not found error. Configure Alternate Access Mapping and having Basic Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS. Doing the Impact Analysis of the development on the site RIPS - RIPS is interface portal between Remedy to Project Server to add remedies. We can add remedies to the project plans or user timesheets using this tool. Users can assign themselves to existing remedy created by some other user. But we provided feature to create one task per user because billing types for Remedy tickets for each team is different. We can create Baselines, Usage of Macros feature and publish the changes also in this Project Server. Responsibilities: Developed the SSRS reports based on the requirements. Involved in SharePoint Administration Roles. Involved in creation of design documents and workflows in it. Worked in the phase of Production and maintenance of Project.
