Description

The desktop application allows the user to upload any videos, movies, or to add an URL to any
youtube video. After uploading and the background processing, it will be launched an avatar character
which translates in ASL language the initial video file that was uploaded.
The whole desktop application is described as an avatar next to a video player that will translate in
realtime into the ASL language any video format file.
Purpose of the application: Deaf people will be able to watch any file in a video format and have a
realtime ASL avatar translation.

At the end of 2016 as a part of a 4 members team, we developed a web platform in C#-MVC
together with a mobile application in Android named HeartView. The platform and mobile application
were combined with a wearable system for surveillance of patient's health. This whole system was
developed to track the patient's evolution, by receiving data from the sensors(EKG, humidity,
temperature, pulse) that were attached to him or around him. If the values from the sensors exceeded
the limit, then the system was sending alerts to a doctor's smartphone who intervened immediately for
solving the problems. The full medical records of every patient were available for doctors on the web
platform.
