A well-designed transaction monitoring (TM) system is an important component of an effective anti-money laundering and counter financing of terrorism (AML/CFT) compliance program. In support for the efforts to combat money laundering and terrorist financing, AmBank group is committed to develop and implement effective measure to identify unusual or suspicious activity and ensure that they are reported to the regulatory authorities.

To effectively monitor potentially suspicious/unusual transactions and guard the bank against money laundering and terrorism financing threats, there is a need to have a robust ongoing detection system, data management, and optimization and reporting to review of customer’s transactional activity, based on pre-defined set of criteria, behaviors and parameters in accordance to the risk based approach of monitoring process

• Gathering and Understanding business documents from client requirements.
• Preparing environment setup for data extraction, loading and transformation from upstream to downstream.
• Validating data from Production environment and SIT environment.
• Check issue log and exception when Control M job fails and report them to the developer.
• Prepare and execute test cases in HP ALM after validation /executions of the SQL scripts
• Analyze mapping specifications and report and collect observation logs

· Worked together with stakeholders to prepare test script and test plan with entry, exit and sign off criteria for the project.

• Using ETL Frame work to better collate the data by batch and validate them.
• Performed activities in ETL frame work like: Batch initialization, activity initialization and closure of the same.
• Follow up with mapping team to get mapping specs clarifications.
• Follow up and conduct discussions with developer on the issues.
• Raising SIR(Defects) while data loading and when development code does not meet the FSD requirement.
• Maintaining project documentation for SIT tasks performed, tracking issues logs, for audit, generating compliance report.

· Validating Business Data, Data mapping and Business transformation data into CRA Reports.

• Attend daily status calls and interact with Leads, designers on shore and offshore, developers on issues and concepts
• Preparing TCR(Test Closure report).
