This project involves Development and maintenance of Celgenes Big data Platform called SYNAPSE which consists of reports and interactive Dashboards using tools like Tableau 2018.3 along with other applications using tools like Cloudera Hadoop, R Shiny, AWS etc.

Synchrony Financial is a diversified financial banking services company with operations around the world and one of the largest banks in the US. This project involves development of universe from Oracle Database for the credit card user accounts related information reporting purpose to Create Web Intelligence Reports for the end users. It also includes populating data into the enterprise staging area (Oracle) from SQL Server source tables using Abinitio (ETL).

• Roles and Responsibilities-

• Involved in creating new users in CMC and scheduling the reports through CMC and Infoview.

• Modified and maintained Universes using Designer module to include objects like Dimensions, Details and Measures according to the Functional specifications.

• Created new objects and classes in the Universe based on the report creation requirements.

• Created reports by taking data from different data source.

• Involved in the modifying and Building of Universes, Classes and objects.

• Used joins concept by taking different tables from different data sources in the Universe.

• Involved in creating Aliases and contexts in Universe Designer.

• Administered and supervised the BO environment by monitoring/granting permissions and rights to vast users, creating and publishing reports and implement Folder and object level restrictions through Central Management Console.

• Provided support for the users on application usage.

• Migrated Universes, Reports, and Securities from Development to Production environment, used Import Wizard for the Migration process across the environments.

• Troubleshoot errors for reports, dashboards, and universes. Fixed them to work as per the business needs.
