HP to Microfocus migration project:
The Micro Focus business model is growth through acquisition of software companies and in 2017, they acquired Hewlett Packard Enterprise. As a result of the HP software acquisition, the combined group is operating on two main enterprise application stacks:
- Stack A – the applications used by the former HP software business
- Stack B – the applications used by Micro Focus and its subsidiary business units
The aim of the Stack C program is to re-platform the entire Micro Focus enterprise onto a single application stack, which is referred to as Stack C.
As part of the migration a new reporting solution is required which can tactically provide the data to allow the CPM and GTM reports to carry on functioning, while strategically provide the stepping-stone towards a data driven future.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Writing views for reporting team
- Setting up Environments
- Gathering requirements from clients
