Project Description: To load the invoices being maintained in different kinds of files & on mainframe
database. Each file has different format of records which indicate a telephone invoice. Similar invoices from
different invoice files & mainframe are consolidated & loaded into the common database, over which the reports
are generated & integrated in the web portal so that the users can generate reports for themselves.
Key Responsibilities
 Reviewing & analysing the requirements that are gathered by onsite team.
 Collecting the requirements for one of the releases from clients through tele conference.
 Developing design strategy as per the requirements & Distributing work among the team members
 Monitoring the team member’s work (development & unit testing) of DataStage jobs as per the design
 Performing IQA for the developed jobs
 Analysing & fixing the SIT bugs

Project Description: The DataStage jobs were created to migrate the data from flat schema to a well-structured
relation data store (RDS). Also, the existing Cognos reports were maintained.

 IQA of the developed jobs & documents
 Unit testing of DataStage jobs
 Replicating the same environment at offshore for the DataStage related projects

Project Description: Two conversion programs were developed for two new cedants using datastage.
Key Responsibilities
 Analysis, Designing, Coding, preparing test specifications & Testing.
 Worked at client place (London) for 4 months & got the customer appreciation for the work done.
 Improved performance of one of the conversions from 3 hrs to 35 mins.

Project Description: Existing applications were migrated from Foxpro database to oracle database using
Asp.net.

 Code review using FXCOP tool & Unit testing of the code
 Analysing & estimating the efforts for the CRs/defects
 Implementing, testing & delivering the respective code to onsite on time
 Identifying & correcting the number of errors existed in the previous system
 Performance tuning thus making the system response faster did value addition.
 Migration of the reports to Cognos enhanced look & feel of the system.
 Creating Cognos reports and cubes.
 High CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) achieved.
