Description: As part of the project, I had been assigned to enhance into Outbound Maintenance modules where new payer account and payer country code is introduced in billing system. The effected modules for Outbound are Maintain Outbound Shipment, Invoice/Cash Adjustment, Logistic Service Charge, Outbound Periodic Fee (Non Shipment Fee).

Introducing new Global Mail house zone product and allow only mail zone destination for outbound shipments.

  • Joined as Graduate Trainee. The In-house ERP (IIS – Integrated Information System) was being implemented during my joining time. Initially I was a team member for Inventory and Payroll module and later I was involved in Purchase, Production and marketing modules.
  • Involved in database design, analysis, coding, Error debugging, testing or complete implementation of various applications on the entire above module.
  • Installing the enhanced or new application at client site and educate the user about their respected applications or modules.

  • One of the major role was on implementation of “Recording the Attendance of employees” which was a new module and it was not part of the existing ERP. The each and every swap will be recorded and being used to calculate the employees salary and deducting the wages of the employees based up on management reports which calculates the “Late Come and Early Go”
  • Involved in routine DBA activities like Taking Logs, Backup, update statistics, analyzing the queries and few of the times associated with senior DBA while restoring the Database when it was crashed.

Process Receipt module contains transactions as Goods received receipt, Physical Inspections, Quality inspection & after Confirmation of the receipt the Stock is updated for the concerned Store, bin & Corresponding Reports

Process of Issue module contains transactions like Indents from Dept, Indent made on issue, Stock Transfer. Stores Entry Cancellation, Discrepancy note printing, Department-wise Issues, Stock Valuation Reports, Inventory card printing system, Indent printing (ISO format), Returnable Gate pass, Non-returnable Gate Pass, Work order etc.

  • Attendance, Payroll, HRD Training :

Creation of Master, Transactions & Reports related to Attendance Recording System (Punch card), Various Statements (wages days, incentive days, OT Days, late & early punching) for calculation of monthly payment of the employees.

Training Programs Schedule & completion for Management Staff & Worker Staff. Payroll Activity (Pay calculation, Income tax calculation, short recovery), Monthly Various Statements (Absentism, Strength). It involves Master, Transactions & Reports related to Foundry Production Casting, Core Master, Machine Utilization, Production, Rejections at various stages like prod, fettler, QA etc, Foundry stock reconciliation, Foundry Variable Cost, Employees’ efficiency as per the user requirements, etc

  • Marketing & Sales

It involves Master, Transactions & Reports related to Quotation from Customers, Order Acceptance, Dispatch Instruction, Invoice Creation Transaction, Sub-Contractor dispatches and billing, Sales plan and reports like, Daily dispatch report, Sales report etc.
