This resulted in enhanced productivity as well as streamlinedresource planning (both forecasting & usage) activities. Please refer ResourceManagement System in Project Experience section.- Without having knowledge on platforms like Ruby, Python & native mobile components, handled multiple teams working on mobile solutions to streamline developmentprocesses to ensure consistent and predictable deliveries. This has led to improved RoI forCore QA teams. Please refer CoreQA Solutions in Project Experience section.- At Microsoft, fixed performance issues in one of the critical applications (EnterpriseEmpowerment Engine, aka E3). This fix eliminated a great amount of memory leak (bothon client side and server side) that helped our customers use the application for longerperiods during mid-year and year end timeframes for finalizing volume licensing dealswith Microsoft clients.- While implementing SEMI standards (at HCL), proactively analysed XML schemaspublished by SEMI and send feedback which was much appreciated and incorporated intothe original schema by SEMI- Developed Automated Testing Tool for automating testing COM components. Thishelped the team to spend less time on testing that resulted in delivering robustapplications to one of the HCL clients (KLA-Tencor)At present, working with Electronic Arts as Technical Director, leading multiple teams ofsize 12, responsible for giving technical directions to teams working on products that areused by game teams for improving games quality.Onsite Profile:1. Electronic Artsa. Travelled to London, UK to attend leadership summit2. Microsofta. Spent 3 months in Redmond, US for taking over the project.3. HCLa. Travelled to Boston, US to client place for two new projects discussion.SynopsisAt present, I am the only person working for my company taking care of everything:market analysis, solution design and architecture and development of the product.Working with my own start-up gave me an opportunity to deal with many things:- Identifying right technical stack with resource constraints- Dealing with vendors, students who opted for internship at my company- Keeping self-motivated and focused on delivery- Continuous prioritization of tasks as every day is an unplanned dayAt EA as Technical Director, handled program execution and delivery for multiple projectswhere my day to day activities looked as below- Creating engineering practices (for dev, test & support) and ensuring teams adhere tothose practices.- Planning and executing quarterly releases with Scrum methodologieso Sprint activitieso Resource planningo Risk identification; mitigationo Stakeholder communication- Resource needs evaluation and hiring activitiesOther organizational activities:a. Part of various virtual teams for organizational growth, such aso DRE (Defect Removal Efficiency) Improvement Initiatives (Microsoft)o Dev Learning Circle (Microsoft)o EA OutReach group (corporate social responsibility)o ESAT (EA Employee Satisfaction improvement team)b. Cross group collaboration activitiesAs part of this developed tools that improved other teams (Test, SE & SMD) productivity apartfrom improving CPE (customer partner experience).Important Projects Overview:Below section briefly explains few of the key projects that I have handled:EA (Sep, 2011 to May, 2016)For below projects, I was responsible for collecting high level requirements, convertingthem into business requirements, provide design to the team. I was also responsiblefor POCs & base components development. In addition to that, handled projectmanagement using JIRA (creating user stories, sprint plans, conducting scrums)o Auto Test Framework (ATF)Aimed at helping development engineers, ATF solves automating developertesting of games. ATF is a set of libraries and using this, development team canbuild programs to automate complete testing during development stage. Thisincludes, reserving consoles, build deployment, test runs & test reportgeneration.ATF is developed using .Net stack (C#, Web API, SQL Server)o Build Provisioning System (BPS)BPS target audience is test engineers who have no programming knowledgeand do testing of both consoles and mobiles. BPS provides a web interface tohelp testers perform various activities like defining target test environment, advance booking of devices, schedule game build transfers, verify build sanityand execute any scripts provided by developers.BPS is developed using .Net stack (C#, ASP.Net, WCF, SQL Server)o Resource Management System (RMS)During game releases, EA hires huge number of testers who are temporaryemployees. This is especially needed for localization testing. RMS is developedto solve issues that arise in the above-mentioned scenario. RMS helps QAmanagers and leads to forecast resources needed, maintain different versionsof forecasts, send those forecasts to senior management for approval, definingskillset needed for executing a project, managing resources centrally (i.e.,hiring, allocating, etc.,). RMS also provides features to help vendors to tracktheir timesheets and send to leads for approvals.RMS is developed using .Net stack (C#, ASP.Net, Web API, SQL Server)Microsoft (July, 2007 to Aug, 2011)For below project, I was the development lead that includes responsibilities of codingand coordinating with other teams (PMs, Test Teams, Product Support Teams)o Enterprise Empowerment Engine (E3)E3 is developed to help Microsoft sales people in Volume Licensing space. Itprovides features to generate proposals, get approvals for giving discounts thatare beyond a sales person limit & converting proposal to leads.E3 is developed using .Net stack (C#, WinForms, WCF, SQL Server)HCL Technologies (Mar, 2001 to June, 2007)For below project, I was the Project Lead and as part of that created Low Level Designdocuments, developed server side components, helped the PM in projectmanagement activities.o Interface for Data Acquisition (iDA)iDA is a flagship product of HCL from its then newly formed product group. It isa software representation of standards published by SEMI (SemiconductorEquipment and Materials International). iDA provides features to define andexecute DCPs (data collection plans) from various units within a hugesemiconductor machine in a fab.iDA is developed using MS stack (C#, ASP, VC++, SQL Server)
