Kaiser Permanente is one of the largest not profit health maintenance organization which provides health services to their employees as well as members across California region in US. The account has several portfolios but I worked and supported for critical Lab applications under care delivery services. The southern region have four Lab applications KRMS, KPNS, KPPI and Aegis POC. On the other hand Northern region has three EHS, LURS and PRL applications. KRMS, EHS, LURS, PRL and KPNS are running in mainframe whereas KPPI and Aegis POC are like product of Kaiser which we are providing support for server maintenance, upgrade support incident handling stuffs. Typically Lab applications dealing with Orders, sample collection, result storage and reporting. So the entire Lab business flow depends on the Lab orders received from Kaiser doctors for the patient.

VOLVO is one of the leading mechanical companies in the world. Volvo brought Nissan diesel truck engine from Nissan. Nissan used Hitachi mainframe but Volvo already using IBM Mainframe. So this business pushed Volvo IT to have two Mainframes. This project scope is to convert Hitachi Mainframe to IBM mainframe which includes Hitachi COBOL to IBM COBOL, PDM-II to DB2, DCCM3 to CICS and Q to COBOL without any functional disturbance. These truck business runs with the help of six application parts, purchase, billing, sales, delivery, ordering. All the process in the Hitachi operating system are in ASCII format and when it comes to IBM it should be converted to EBCDIC coding format for all the six applications.

The collective's Project is a stream within the greater Signature Program, CFS is outsourcing the Administration of its Unit Trust Business. Capita will administer the UT on their Utopia platform. The Management of Unit Trust Products within the CFS environment currently interfaces with various other systems to provide the required functionality to the business. In order to support the current business, the migration of Unit Trusts to Capita's Target Platform requires rationalizing the interfaces between Threads and the remaining CFS retained systems. The below are the required interfaces that are to be built to enable the co-ordination of information between the CFS and Capita and also to enable the continued processing of the CFS Retained Systems. The interfaces required for the processing of Products between the CFS and Capita are a combination of batch and real time.
