Description

  • As a member of the DXP DevOps team, developed high-level architecture design document for the Digital Experience Program (DXP) Middleware Architecture.
  • Designed, implemented and tested a series of Connectors (Adapters) for various resources utilized by the DXP Middleware, including PostGres, JSON and HTTPS.
  • Designed a Service Orchestration Layer, as a Restful Web Service, deployed on Pivotal Cloud Foundry. The design supported orchestrating flows consisting of sequences of restful services and/or Java POJO services. Utilized Python to drive test requests for the orchestration service.
  • Participated in the evaluation of public cloud infrastructure platforms to support Mastercard’s Secure Remote Commerce initiative, which will facilitate cardless payment transaction, utilizing the EMVCo 3DS protocol specifications. Both Amazon’s AWS and Microsoft’s Azure public cloud offerings were evaluated. I designed and implemented, in Java, performance analysis programs to evaluate the performance and throughput of various features and platform services.
  • Designed and implemented Spring Boot Java Web Service to capture cardholder address information and persisted the information with the associated cardholder data in a Redis persistent cache.
  • Built Swing GUI tool for querying Cassandra cluster

Description

Maestro Workflow Platform:

  • The design, implementation and testing, in Scala, of the Persistence and Query layers of the platform. These layers persist and access data in the Oracle RDF Semantic database. Low level RDF access was accomplished Oracle’s Jena SPARQL implementation.
  • Microservice-based Access to these layers via a Java Spring Boot RestFul API
  • An Akka/Scala actor system that integrated the Persistence and Query Layers with the core workflow engine.
  • Implemented, in Java, Spring Boot RestFul API implementing the Amazon S3 Object Storage Java API to support file attachments. The UI was implemented with Swing.

CreditNavigator Loan Origination application:

  • Designed, coded and tested the Persistence Layer, utilizing the Oracle 12c Relational Database.
  • The Persistence Layer is designed as an Insert-only database that maintains temporal relationships between versions of each data object, as the application updates the database.
  • Access to the Persistence Layer was implemented as Spring Boot RESTful web services.
  • Design captures a complete audit trail of all state changes to the loan origination requests, as they are processed through the CreditNavigator’s Workflow processing.
