This project is basically comprises the development of HMI Applications for next generation car, which has different features like GSM module, Global Positioning System, Media Player, FM, Climate control, DVD ,Bluetooth, BTApp, BTAudio, ParkAid etc.This follows incremental development, and the phases are basically Test HMI, Prototype phase, Beta Phase and Production.The architecture of a HMI application has 3 layers, Service Application (lower layer), Business Logic (Middle layer) and GUI (Top layer). And each of these layers communicates with each other via HMI Framework and Central Application Controller (CAC) which are common for all application. Service application, CAC and Business Logic are developed using Rational Rhapsody C++.
