The Troy Check printers had third world speed (In the USA at the time Check Printers throughput of a least 20k/Hr). i followed the printer delivery and implemented the customer apps
Description
My job was to make whatever app the customer requested, usally I wouldn't find anything about that until on site. The apps were for Letter and Check printing. Some of the countries I worked in are Indonesia, Turkey, Mexico, Venezuela, Chile, and Trinidad and Tobago. My job sites were in the industrial partsof the capitols.

moved apps from Xerox and other printers to the UST IBM AFPDS printers
Description
Wrote Borland C++ Builder programs creating raw AFPDS based on VA data includingInsurance, Fee/Vender, and MOCAS. VA-INSwas moving from a Xeorox duplex printer to the simplex IBM AFPDS printer. I had to rearrange the several INS forms so that the first simplex page had all the essential compontents of what was a duplex page. In addition I had to reformat and enlarge the address to meet the US Postal Service specs for a Postnet barcoded letter. Used https://www.accuzip.com/ for sorting and Postnet barcode generation. For Social Security I added a partially filled in letter to sign up for EFT. For VA-INS converted from Xeorx Metadata to AFPDS.
