Description
The use case aims at creating supply chain collaboration among OEM’s suppliers up-to Nth Tier using the distributed ledger architecture with smart contracts.
The blockchain based approach eliminates the need for a number of people across organizations to collate the necessary information through manual processes/ EDI.
Immutability of Blockchain solution brings in advantage of data security as well as smart contracts offers the business rules , for all stakeholders involved in supply chain including quality, to be executed on the blockchain which provides the resultant set of the contract execution for view. The resultant set is recorded in immutable way which is auditable at any point of time.
This use case brings in better COPQ monitoring near-real time pinpointing to defect rates of suppliers and possible recovery. Thus OEM's will be able to bring down COPQ percentage to revenues
