Environment includes heavy transaction OLTP databases as well as Data warehousing databases with about 10-12 TB sizes. Along with Infrastructure support I am also involved in Application support and role is to optimize data warehousing application and processes with my expertise from database end.

• Understanding the application processes running at database end and optimize the processes
• Proactively monitor the database maintenance jobs and optimize to reduce run time allowing more time available for application process

• Working with Data Architects for Performance tuning with queries with help of indexes and stats updates.

Description: Health sector client in US outsourced its CRM application infrastructure support to Accenture. I am leading the infrastructure for Database environment including MS SQL on Azure both in IAAS and PAAS modes. Environment includes heavy CRM databases with AAG configurations for HA of about 4-13TB in size along with reporting databases which are synced with help of log shipping to offload reporting from transaction databases.

Environment includes varied sized databases with AAG/FCI clusters as well as log shipping and mirroring for HA and DR purposes. I had a team of 10 members and completed transition for the project.
