Description

Learning and Communications Platform (LCP) is a learning management application. It has several modules like client management, user management, assignment, course management, reporting etc. LCP learner interface supports 43 Languages. The application enables a student user to take the different trainings and allows a manger to review the progress of student and also generate reports based on that. It allows the manager to give assignments to students. LCP allows the courses to operate in a low bandwidth environment and to provide comprehensive reports on performance and outcomes. LCP is single tenant application where user (client) can have dedicated instance of application and DB instance. Whenever a new client is added to the system, the dedicated instance of application and Database is set up. Clients can have the application self- hosted or they can have it as Rackspace hosted.

Client is one of the reputed telecom company in UK. Single Interface (SI) is all about work flow management. There are some upstream systems that send order request to SI in the form of xml. The requests are queued in the IBM MQ. They are then read by the Reader from the MQ and sent to the Parser component. The Parser component reads the XML and stores the output in the relevant front-end tables. This information is then read by the SI Web application where the appropriate tasks in the request are assigned to the appropriate associates based on their skill set and the task priority. Also, the complete status of the whole orders and the tasks is shown to the relevant stakeholders.
