The product set includes products like Customer Care and Billing, Meter Data Management, Work and Asset Management, Mobile Workforce Management, Network Management System - just to name a few. These products generate a lot of meaningful data for different sections of the utility market. Oracle Utility Analytics (OUA) is an umbrella product to analyze the data generated by these applications.

We are transforming the OUA product to the enterprise data warehouse technology using the Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and Oracle Golden Gate (OGG). We also use OBIEE as the tool to generate reports.

EDW – GE Treasury has plans to build a DWH in the corporate enterprise model and replacing the existing DWH.
The main objective of this project is to analyze the bank account information. The data mart gets data
from different heterogeneous relational i.e. Oracle and flat file sources. Logic has been designed through
Informatica mappings to cleanse the data and load the data into the data mart. This project provides complete
historic information related with clients inventory by developing the data warehouse that stores all the necessary
data of last two years related with company.
Responsibilities:
 Understanding the business rules and implementation of data transformation methodologies as for
business process and handled with client.
 Designing the mappings as per ETL Specification.
 Developing the mappings optimized them for better performance.
 Performed Debugging and Tuning of mapping and sessions.
 Test mapping to assure that data is loaded as per ETL Specification.
 Performed extensive testing on the mappings and wrote queries in SQL to check if the data was
loading to the dimension tables and fact tables properly.
 Developed complex mappings in Informatica to load the data from various sources using different
transformations like Source Qualifier, Look up (connected and unconnected), Expression, Aggregate,
Update Strategy, Sequence Generator, Joiner, Filter, Update Strategy Rank and Router
transformations.
 Extensively used SQL* loader to load data from flat files to the database tables in Oracle.
 Modified existing mappings for enhancements of new business requirements.
 Used Debugger to test the mappings and fixed the bugs.
 Used Type 1 SCD and Type 2 SCD mappings to update slowly Changing Dimension Tables.
