Description
Abalon successfully participated in the IDC Triara.com diagnostic and architectural and interoperability project on Triara.com, the world's first "Data Center" developed by Hewlett Packard of Mexico, Teléfonos de México and Cisco Systems. Our objective was very clear: to show a conceptual panorama of the components that integrate the IDC of Triara, with the initial intention to make a preliminary diagnosis about its architecture and to issue the necessary recommendations for the correct and efficient operation of all the components that integrate it. Abalon spent about 2 months doing this project on site in the City of Monterrey, Nuevo León; Mexico. He performed all the analysis processes required by a project of this size (142 HP servers in Linux, 109 HP servers in Windows, 40 Cisco switches of various models, 6 Cisco cache engines, 6 Cisco intrusion detectors, 4 Cisco firewalls PIX, 2 Cisco VPN controllers, 2 Cisco load balancers, etc.).
At the end, the recommendations presented were well received and carried out, thus ensuring the correct, efficient and safe operation of the data center (IDC).

Description
Abalon taught a sales course for consultative sales engineers. At the end of the course, the participants learned about the components and processes of Avantel's IDC, the basic services, advanced management services and the integrated solutions offered by the IDC to different market types and, finally, the sales strategies To promote and sell these services to the potential user community in our country. Finally, they met the scheme of selling with Sun, an ally of Avantel for the sale of the services of the IDC. This course was integrated into 4 modules with a total duration of 23 hours over 4 working days.
The result was very satisfactory, with both companies, Sun Microsystems and Avantel fully satisfied with the design and delivery of this sales course.

Description
Abalon carried out an evaluation project for Telephony and Internet providers in Colombia with the intention that Impulse Telecom Mexico would open operations in that country for the American Embassy in Mexico. The project was carried out by applying a methodology for conducting interviews with those responsible for the commercial and technical areas of the main companies that
provide telephony and Internet access services in Colombia. The application of surveys was performed for the evaluation of infrastructure, services and products, redundancy, coverage, support and levels of service committed to customers. Visits were conducted to inspect the infrastructure and general facilities of each provider, including central voice switching nodes, data and data center facilities. Also, a thorough evaluation of the legal aspects of the solution, with respect to the rules of operation of the requested services (VOIP) in that entity, was carried out. At the end of the surveys and visits, various variables of operation and prices of services were weighted, determining the recommendation in 3 out of 7 providers that were analyzed. Impulse Telecom Mexico finally decided to go for the best recommended option, being very satisfied with the services provided by Abalon.
