Money Transfer System is a core payment system for UK RBS payments. It is extreme downstream system. MTS accepts payments from various systems/banks/claims. MTS is one of the core banking application it interacts with various external applications like SCORE, TRIP, GFS. MTS get various types of payments like SWIFT, SEPA, Cross-border payments from various input resources like Payment Router,EQUEENS and EBA file handler. Each payment has its own payment format. MTS uses Payment Adapter incentage components to covert the messages and to get required information from external interfaces.

ADCE

Amstelveen Data Centre Exit program ADCE. The ADCE project has been set up to move core banking systems (MTS Money Transfer System) residing in Amstelveen South and Amstelveen North to Edinburgh UK. In order to install the RBS NL GTS application on the RBS data centers in the UK, RBS needs software and installation manuals which enable RBS to install the applications from scratch on the new data centres in the UK.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze new enhancements and provide estimation.
• Troubleshooting the payment issues.
• Support test environments ET/ST.
• Preparation of data migration template, environment specific parameters complete installation instructions/(re)configuration.
• Provide all software and complete installation/(re)configuration instructions which are required for the initial installation of the applications from scratch on the new data centers in the UK.
• Support production issues.
• Provide the technical solutions for new enhancements.
• Control the test environments (checking for trapped process, disk management)
• Involved in Informatica Admin related work, preparation of Mapping & workflow design document.
• Verify the message queues.
• Prepare implementation documents for implementation teams.
• Provide vendor support required to make each application deployment successful (initial deployment and delta changes).

Project Description:

UK Retail & Credit cards data is extracted from RBSG internal/external feeder systems on a daily, weekly and monthly basis and stored in Teradata Staging area tables. The data from these tables are extracted and transformed to create files in the required format for Detica. The files are transferred to the Detica NetReveal Builder server for building networks & scoring them. After the builder process is successfully completed, NetReveal visualizer is kicked off to load the networks to Visualizer.

The objective of this project would be to build on the pilot configuration to deliver a strategic system to support investigation of sleeper accounts, with the following targets:

• Enable identification of fraudulent accounts not flagged by the current suite of tools in place.
• Deliver a solution scaled for use by GS&F staff where we have a suspicion that potential financial crime activity is being undertaken against the Group and requires investigation (Group = our customers, our processes, our staff).
• Deliver match commonality (to be defined but examples include customers, phone numbers, geographic locations etc.) should be easily accessible to the operator to aid determination of potential fraud.
• Deliver match commonality with external Data sources such as FISS and FIND
• Deliver operational and other forms of reporting.

• Primarily responsible for Analysis and developing Extraction, Transformation and loading process using ETL tool Informatica

Project Description:

The WYETH, Japan currently maintains “OCEAN” data warehouse to store all data for reports and data is extracted from source system and downloaded in the warehouse using SQL Loader. The present warehouse is in Oracle 10g. Wyeth plans to standardize their core model having common data structures and standard set of reports. As part of the new direction Wyeth plans to enhance the core data model “DATAPAC” with standard data structures across affiliates that provides for scalability and extensibility
