Description
Model Governance System (MGS) is the official system of record for all model documentation and sign-offs for models under Policy 5001. MGS is a workflow tool combined with a repository of statistical model meta-data that is used by the Credit Risk Management organization and by the systems which may require an inventory of statistical models. The system addresses all aspects of gathering data used for model management as well as gathering data that is part of the model itself.
MGS helps the Model Owners follow the governance process in Capital One. It is a task driven workflow tool combined with a model repository.
MGS supports all lines of business at Capital One. Each line of business has its own users and groups that develop and monitor the models for their line of business. The role of any user specifies their permission on the model and within MGS.
The basic functions of MGS are:
• Entry and review of model data and documentation
• Routing and approvals of the model

The Capital One FDR Testing team applications primarily deal with the SIT support of the major credit card platform (FDR).Capital One is creating a new infrastructure for partnerships in addition to their existing infrastructure that will support private label credit cards. This infrastructure is introducing a new core billing system from First Data, into their suite of platform systems as well as a new decision engine, Zoot. The new partner, Hudson Bay Corporation will be the first partner to utilize this new infrastructure in January, 2012. The program team is set up with 7 testing streams that will be led by Capital One Quality Services leadership. There will be a team of testers to assist in testing certain key systems, primarily FDR Core System and Zoot decision engine. Approximately 3100 business requirements are in scope.

CBT (Centrale Beheer Toepassing) is a central maintenance application. This application is required in order to be able to better support the quality of the input and the underlying mutation process for private loan mutations now and in the future.

• Local Banks can employ the Service Centrum Financieren [Finance Service Centre] (SCF) to do the mutations on loans linked to mortgages for them
