Business Problem: Company was using full-blown Standard Salesforce User licences for the business partners(not internal employess) to allow them access to some relevant CRM functions. They were finding it hard to gain the budget for so many user licences.

Solution: This was a project in which 1500 users were migrated from Standard Salesforce users to Partner community users. Alongwith user migration, all the salesforce functions/modules that were in use by partners were also to partner community. Enabled the client to use a separate and enhaced branding for its partner portal.

Impact: Huge cost-saving for the client in most expensive domain of Salesforce CRM, i.e. Salesforce User Licencing. Improved the system securtiy as Business Partners were now limited to Community user profiles instead of Standard Dales user profiles.
