Project Description : This application is a software component developed by Impact Systems in collaboration with Seclore, allowing users to access documents from the Documentum repository in secured manner. Allows authorized users to enable or disable existing security policies assigned to protected folders Applies folder's security policy to the document when a user/application tries to access the document residing in a protected folder Removes policy applied to a document prior to storing it in a protected folder, provided document's policy matches the security policy of the folder Applies folder's security policy to a document when the document is moved/copied to another folder having a different security policy, thereby retaining the original security policy of the document. Interacting with On-Site Coordinators.
Contribution : Work on SBO TBO implementation for edit document operations to allows authorized users to set security policies on Documentum

Gnosis Migration of the data provided by the client from shared drive to SharePoint and also created folder path as per the requirements and copied the respective files into multiple folder using java based utility.Contribution:Role is Senior Associate that include migration migration utility development and PDM-D2 Integration activity.

I have worked on UDI Webservices DFS(20.x) based SOAP based webservices which read and upload the content into repository. Tasks involves various Documentum D2 configuration development and Enhancement into the existing application.

This migration includes DCM and D2 Migrations for Legacy Documents and Word Files. Existing D2 and DCM system document categories and types to be migrated over newly developed D2 application. Several utilities and tools developed and used to perform these operations. o Q-Transfer Export: In-house tool to Export the large number of content files from source system with creation of Metadata CSV file which will be used to generate the metadata XML files. o QTL XML Generation: This tool validates all the records in CSV file generated by Q-transfer Tool with the target repositories dictionaries and taxonomies and creates the XML metadata files. o QTL Bulk Import: This utility imports the files by their metadata and apply autonaming and auto-linking to the imported files which was defined by the target D2 System. o QTL Users Update: This utility sets the site wise groups defined in dictionaries to the imported documents. QTL Security Update: This Utility updates the site wise security for applied groups by above utility. o QTL Template and Process List Updates: This utility used to apply Templates to the Legacy Documents by template conditions and object name information stored in XML file and version the documents and finally sets the workflow process list defined in taxonomy by the target D2 system. o QTL Relate Legacy: All the imported and versioned documents related to the legacy documents existing on the target repository.
