Description

Main responsibility is to Co-ordinate vendor team for Site I&C and Integration, for NSN 2G (900 & 1800 bands), 3G & 4G Networks for Vodafone.
Analysis and Fault Management of Network related issues of BTS, BSC elements that include faults related to call routing, version upgrades and access network faults.
Analysis and Fault management of RF issues, MW Transmission & optical transmission.
Supervision of teams for the installation work as per quality parameters.
Installation and Commissioning of NSN equipment’s (ULTRA, FLEXI, FLEXI COMPACT & MR BTS), Node B (FSMD+FRGP & FSMF+FRGT) & SRAN.
Testing, measuring VSWR, return loss or cable insertion loss and locating faulty RF components in antenna systems using Bird, Eco-via.
Coordinating with Warehouse, Vendor team, O&M Engineer, Field managers for Different aspect of project work like Material delivery, Installation, AT, Billings.
New site acceptance from project.
MIRCOWAVE installation & Commissioning of 0.3m, 0.6m, 1.2m, 1.8m, 2.4m Antenna & Complete PDH links.
Installed FIU on the live site and commissioned them successfully.
Solving site installation problems while work is going on at site.
E1 routing using PDH and SDH equipment’s like FIU, FIFA, FIQB, FIPA, Flexi Hybrid, NEC & Huawei RTN.
Conducting AT and handover site to O&M with their satisfactory work.
Responsible for bringing new 2G, 3G & 4G sites on air and responsible for pre-AT of new cell site and acceptance test.

Co-ordination with planning and O&M for the backbone and access transport route for the fibre connectivity of sites.
Responsible for Preventive Maintenance of Cisco (C-16) & Juniper Routers, NLD Muxes & DWDM.
Responsible for New Connectivity of Cisco (C-16) Router with NLD Muxes & other transmission equipment’s like Pine 155 & DWDM.
Responsible for Installation, Commissioning & integration of new Cisco (C-14) MWR Rings.
Responsible for end to end activities from feasibility survey process to route survey for setting up fibre networks for Vodafone Enterprise & Carrier Customers.
Responsible for end to end activities from feasibility survey process to Link Deliveries for Vodafone Enterprise & Carrier Customers.
Stability Test for all the commissioned Rings and configure end devices like Router, E1 converter & Optical Modem.
Troubleshooting leased circuits, system faults, handling equipment configuration, testing and provisioning new links.
Purchasing activities, obtain quotes, issue Purchase Requisitions, follow up on deliveries etc.

Planning of new Fiber Routes & DWDM Rings for expansion of the existing Vodafone ECB/NLD Network.

Providing Feasibility & CAPEX as per request from Customer (Services involved are IPLC, NPLC, MPLS, PRI, Internet etc.).
Traffic Optimization of the existing Network & its Re-routing as per the requirement.
Responsible for End to End Service Delivery which includes Fiber Layout, I&C of Hardware, and its assurance.

Installation, Testing & Commissioning of SDH/DWDM based equipment’s, providing utility services to the equipment’s SDH based STM-1/4/16/64 (i.e. ECI XDM-50/100/300/500/1000/2000, BG-64, BG-40, BG-30, BG-20 & Alcatel 1660, 1662, and 1642 at various sites of Services Providers like BHARTI, VODAFONE, VSNL, IDEA, TATA, VIRGIN, MTNL & MTS.
Installation, Commissioning and AT of DWDM (i.e. Alcatel 1626 LM) links for Backbone networks, OADM, Dual Terminal and In Line Amplifiers ILA.
Installation and commissioning with AT of DXC 1678 Metro cross connect.
Liaison with the field team to provide them Network plans for the Installation, commissioning and testing of Transmission equipment’s.
Involved in events of Channel addition, Site shifting, and software up-gradation at the field.
Perform Channel balancing on DWDM links.
Responsible for training of teams for Installation, commissioning, and integration of sites during project rollout.
