A utility is created which removed dependency on Admin. Just have bunch of xmls and zipping it and upload it to list which will provision a whole site collection with lots of features for various department of Client. Inputs for site data is taken from business user and using macros generating the data in xml format which serves as inputs to PowerShell. Some of components of this utility are: - Creation of site collection and webs using existing database or new database. Global and Left Navigations. Site Columns and Content Types. Term Store management. Setting retention policy on Content Type. Send to Connection. Creation of Record Content Type. Feature Activation/Deactivation. Creation of Lists/Libraries and its associated views. Setting other various settings. Creation of SharePoint groups, permission assignment and adding user to groups. Security management at web and libraries level. Creation of result sources at various level.

Site is created using SharePoint 2010 OOB functionalities and html. Basically, GWP platform is used which is internally created by a team of Honeywell i.e. a package and deployed to SharePoint 2010. By using these GWP feature and SharePoint out of box feature with JavaScript, phoenix site is created.

Assessment form is created in SharePoint 2010 using JavaScript and saved data in lists using services. All functionalities in form is dynamic in such a way that admin can add questions and answer easily through lists in form. Microsoft access form is used to export the data from SharePoint list so that admin can analyze using its filtering options.

Its a publishing portal which uses SharePoint OOTB features, custom web parts, localization and integration with third parties like FAST, Newsgator etc. Sync consists of My sites, Communities and Enterprise portal (Publishing site) sites.
