Responsibilities:
Understanding the User requirements.
Preparing test cases in word document.
Functional Testing, Smoke testing, Formal and Informal testing, Regression and Validation testing.
Executing test case and logging the defects in HPALM.
Executed automated test scripts using UFT to cover some functionality of application.

Environment:
HPALM for execution and defect logging.
UFT for automation testing.

This Web based Online Job Portal provides a common platform for Job Seekers and Recruiters where Registered Seekers can apply their candidature for the posted jobs of the reputed companies and registered organizations can shortlist and recruit the suitable candidatesfor their jobs posted.
Main Features:
Application has 3 sections of users -- Job Seekers, Recruiters and Admin user.
Facilities for job seekers: To create, maintain and update several resumes and cover letters, update personal information, apply for online jobs, create Saved searches, receive career alerts and view the list of applied jobs and update it.
Facilities for Recruiters:To post their job vacancies, update organization/personal information, receive and shortlist job seeker's resume.
Facilities for Admin user: Facility to monitor and manage the site.
Searching jobs: Search based on keyword entered, date, initials of companies, company location etc. Fast Track search enables search and apply for jobs based on Industry type, Job Category etc.
Responsibilities:
Understanding the Functional Specification documents against each Release item.
Get clarifications resolved on the Release items by the Business Analysts and Users.
Followed agile methodology and attended Scrum meetings.
Derive test scenarios based on the requirements.
Prepare test cases for the scenarios identified.
Perform Functionality testing using UFT Tool for automating the functionality.
Executed Test Cases as per System Requirements.
Defect Reporting and Tracking using HPALM tool.
Extensively performed Manual Testing process to ensure the quality of the software.
Testing Reports and forms through Backend and front end.
Perform end to end database validation testing/ database testing as per requirement.
Environment:
Java, SQL Server for database testing, HTML,XML,Soap protocol,IE ,Mozilla Firefox, SoapUi, UFT Tool, ALM
