System is national scope and handles input from more than 50 One Call Centers (OCCs) located in 45 states plus District of Columbia. Information, in the form of dig tickets is received 24 hrs per day and 7 days a week. Dig tickets describe construction activity ranging from putting up a new privacy fence to building a new sub division. FLPS accesses the dig location with reference to OSP and dispatches field engineers as needed to mark and protect buried or aerial cable systems from damage. Roles & Responsibilities:
- Participated in attending the requirement gathering calls.
- Analyzed the requirements and came up with different design approaches that suit the business needs.
- Migrated the VB screens into GWT based UI.
- Thoroughly participated in creating the xml generating via UI for creating a design and source views for migration of VB scripts to XML.
- Involved in performance tuning of WEBFLPS application for manual processing.
- Tested the application thoroughly and actively participated in UAT and Production bug fixes.
- Interacted with end users to understand while trying to fix bugs to understand their business need.
- Involved in bug fixing and maintenance of the application.

Overview

Scrum Master/ATF (Agile Team Facilitator):
- Act as a scrum master / ATF for GCM driven from VDSI.
- Facilitate Sprint & Task Planning, Daily Scrum Call, Product backlog, burn down charts, Retrospective and Sprint demos.
- Aiding with prioritization and resolution of software defects.
- Build relationship & acting as facilitator between Product owner and other stake holders.
- Coach team members on Agile principles and providing general guidance on the methodology.
- Continuously upgrading Agile/Scrum techniques & share my findings with the team.
- Engage with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum & as a collective approach.
- Mentor team to solve problems rather than provide solutions.
- Interface with Program Management Office to ensure project goals and requirements are met.
- Provide all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible.
- Track and effectively communicate team velocity and sprint/release progress to all affected teams and management.
- Update Agile tracking systems to provide transparency on product and sprint backlogs.
- Removing impediments or guiding the team to deliver to Production on time.
- Liaise between Dev, BA and Test teams for a foster better communication through Daily Touch Point calls.
