  • As a member of the PMO, provided guidance over 5 significant work streams (mortgage, commercial card, know your customer [AML], on-line account opening, visionIP) for the separation between Bank of the West (BoW) and First Hawaiian Bank (FHB) for the program known as Buffalo. This was a data migration project.
  • The Buffalo Program Objective was the disaggregation of FHB data, reports and metrics from Banc West Corp and Intermediate Holding Company Regulatory, Financial and Management reporting including all digital channels through the enterprise data warehouse (EDW) and Master Data Management (MDM).
  • Rerouted the first mortgage loans from FHB mainframe to BoW and Unix client server
  • Created, maintained and owned the overall program plan in an on-shore off-shore environment

Description

  • Deloitte Consulting was awarded an open Connecticut bid to develop and replace the current mainframe “Care 4 Kids” with “Connecticut Child Care”. This is a new portal application that collects data and provides low income families with financial support to subsidize daycare. The parent/s are required to be working full time or enrolled in school full time.
  • With 10 quality assurance technicians and 2 lead technicians, began the task of writing test scripts against in flux business system design documents. With an extremely aggressive time line using a hybrid agile methodology, began to use the completed test scripts to test the completed part of the code identifying defects in the newly developed application.
  • Developed a comprehensive and detailed test plan. With limitations, provided detail Agile test schedule.

Description

  • The Louisiana Department of Education (LDE) provides Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) to assist low-income families to pay for child care while working, attending school, or training. This program was assumed from the Louisiana Department of Child and Family Services (DCFS). There were massive changes required to the CCAP applications before LDE was able to assume this responsibility. Development was provided by Deloitte Consulting, LDE was responsible for testing this customer facing and backend processing application.
  • Managed the User Acceptance testing effort supporting 468 test scenarios with 12 quality assurance test analysts and a business test team of 16 power users including the validation of test data for end to end testing
  • Provided support for the business ad-hoc test execution, defect reporting and daily testing statistics for senior management.
  • Working closely with the development team, maintained a daily defect triage meeting with business partners and test analysts
  • Was a significant part of the senior management team and clearly articulated the status of testing efforts supporting the implementation of CAFÉ (Common Access Front End).
  • This is a J2EE frontend to a COBOL CICS backend supporting batch processing and reporting.
