Description

Built a legal-tech platform for theautomatedmining and evaluating ofpatent portfolios, eliminating labor-intensive yet error-prone human inquiry. The standard attorney billing rate is $500/hr.Spending 60 seconds/patent on a portfolio with only a few thousand patents still results in tens of thousands of dollars for de minimis analysis—such as guessing if a patent is a hit based on its title.

The De Novo IP platform solves this problem by providing features such as:

  • Tiering portfolios bymetrics, as opposed tosubjective analysis, thereby streamlining and guiding manual processes with objective data-driven analytics—such as claim length, type, and claim keyword hits;
  • Pre-emptive automatic detection of costly drafting errors, which is otherwise time-consuming; and
  • Automatically generated prior art reports that include metrics, such as the percentage occurrence of claim terms within the prior art, which vet a patent’s validity before deciding to commit significant investment.
