Description
The goal of the project is to develop the interface between ICCM & all outbound customer communications Channels (e.g. SMS, Email, Fax etc.) Further goal of ICCM is to become the group solution for all outbound communications to the customer.As ICCM and the communication channels are logically and physically de-coupled, transformation of the message formats was necessary.Transformation will allow a standardized format to be sent from the front end applications (ICCM), data transformation to respective channels formats can be managed within the mid-tier, saving application development resource.
The goal of ICCM is to provide a group solution that:
- It is a single source for templates and content for merging communications to customers
- Provides straight through processing of customer communication
- Eliminates the need for each individual system to develop its own communication solution
- Maximizes reuse
- Promotes standardization
- Reduces time and cost for region specific customization
- Managing the project right from the requirement gathering phase wherein being a middleware application I had to bring in consensus from Front end and back end applications with bringing them together and come to an agreement result of which was a mapping specs.
- Next step was to module mapping specs by analyzing message formats from F/E and B/E systems.
- Preparing Technical requirements specifications document for team to start with development
- Prepare high and low level message flow designs feed these designs to dev team and start working along with them on development piece.
- Prepare Unti test cases covering all possible scenarios. To make it right first time itself !
- Deployments and maintainance and production support.

Project Description: The vision for the Customer Wealth Dashboard is to become a best‐in‐class multi‐channel portfolio management tool which essentially acts as the Centre of gravity for all wealth decisions, providing a holistic view of a customer’s wealth and acting as the gateway into all wealth functionality. Functionality should include the following:
• Everything in one place: Holistic view of customers’ holdings (stocks, funds, bonds, savings, FX) all in one place, making it easier for them to make decisions on how best to manage their portfolio.
• Performance analysis: Allows customers to track their portfolio performance over time; and also to compare against original purchase price and market benchmarks (e.g. Market indices).
• Deep dive: Customers can drill down into more detail with just one click to view their exposure to different sectors, geographies, and asset classes (portfolio x‐ray).
• Always on alert: Customers can set up real‐time alerts to help them track price movements of any of their holdings or those in their watch list.
•Tailored insights to the market: Access to new perspectives and insights on what’s happening in the market, and tips on any emerging opportunities.
• Track against goals: Will help customers track progress against their goals, and provide personalized recommendations on next steps.
Responsibilities: Project planning, Requirement Analysis, Resource planning High/low level messageflow design, Development of Interfaces, Development of WTX maps. WMB's role was not just typical EAI implementation but also involved -- Pagination, Cloning , Filtration , Data Extraction etc. I had developed some complex pieces of transformation maps and provided consultation in WMB messageflow implementation. The code was developed with such a high quality that there were only 2 minor defects in one year from EAI side and trend wise it was negligible.

Project Description: Global Payment System. A single HSBC solution comprising multiple systems and middleware infrastructure for handling of all global customer payments. It is a tier 0 services of HSBC and a very high revenue generating system. Gross profit from this systems are more than $2B/year. GPS was implemented replace all the existing regional systems to create a single payment system for the HSBC group, Includes all payments and funds transfer related functionalities.GPS uses GPP or Global PayPlus as a third Party Payments Product which handles nearly all of the Payments functionalities. This is payments product by Industry Leader D+H,US.GPS constitutes of customizing and interfacing GPP to the Group applications like CHIPS, FED and various Accounting Systems and Automated Clearing House.
The GPS WMB framework allows GPS payment messages and files to be routed and transformed between key payment back office systems within HSBC.
The GPS WMB framework runs as a set of WMB flows which heavily utilise WMB Java Compute Nodes. Java artefacts in turn use XML configuration files to dictate inbound and outbound MQSeries queue names for the purposes of routing and WTX transformation maps for the purposes of data transformation.Entire EAI infrastructure is developed using single Integration BUS to serve all the payments across globe.
Responsibilities: Development of WTX maps , converting SWIFT messages to XML formats , Designing type trees , Developing batch flows to convert File into records and post them to MQ , defect analysis , project documentation , team coordination etc.
