  • Responsible to establish hardware and network software in 2 new Data Centers (one primary and one live backup) & to migrate all databases, tables, and network software from the current Data Centers to the new ones. This project is a combination of Agile and waterfall methodologies, with standup meetings held every morning, and daily working sessions with other migration teams, such as Infrastructure, Network & Mainframe software teams, as needed. PMP and ITIL processes are utilized for this project with a very aggressive schedule.   • Interfaces directly with Verizon customers to integrate Verizon’s eBonding systems for Incidents, Service Requests, Change Management, & Security Management (ITIL), with customers’ ebonding systems, such as (such as Remedy, Service Now, HPSM, & ITSM). Projects use XML SOAP & Rest protocols to interface the eBonding systems. Also managed customer software migrations from Remedy or ITSM to Service Now in order to remove interface directly with Verizon’s ebonding service withut using an appliance.   • Defined requirements to obtain network switch accounting statistics, required for billing data services (i.e., ATM, FR, Internet, video, cloud). Defined order entry & provisioning architecture & requirements to seamlessly interface with Billing & Audit & managed the construction of the related infrastructure
  • Recommended ATM switch vendors, based on switch billing capabilities, for vendor selection during the RFP response evaluation process. Managed vendor billing deliverables after contract award

  • Represented MCI on a billing task force with British Telecom to produce joint billing & interface system requirements in preparation for merger. Also defined & documented the approach & design specifics to interface MCI’s billing & provisioning systems with those of Canadian carrier Stentor
