Store Procedures (rather than code logic in the application middle tier), SSIS and SSRS. These new processes have allowed the client’s portal to provide more efficient, accurate and faster access to the data acquired by the portal and to the systems the portal integrates with, along with the ability to provide a prediction engine that the client could leverage for operations efficiency in a near future.
