I took a lot of pride in my responsibility in the 7 Dayforce implementations that I’ve completed because I got a chance to get a first hand look at this one platform that performed so many uses from dashboard reporting to interactive reporting capabilities to HR and Payroll issues. I thoroughly enjoyed working on Dayforce projects because I was able to gather and interpret the clients needs, educate the client on HR benefits complete record for all employees that automates tasks, making HR easier and more productive., Payroll- Continuously calculate net pay, so you can spend less time on payroll processing and more time on achieving your goals, saying goodbye to calculating payroll in batches, workforce management to improve operational efficiency and stay in compliance with complex labor rules. I would Lead project status meetings including agenda creation and review all of our action items and then document within SmartSheet/ MS Project. Lastly, working with Ceridians Dayforce Payroll I was able to improve the clients day to day work performance, enabled managers to correct errors before processing within payroll, show the managers they had ondemand access to information about their staff and Employees could now manage their goals and see their performance and development. This allowed the client to act on feedback and integrate more efficient strategies, drive the project team to achieve project goals, improve effectiveness and efficiency and I’ll be able to bring all of that expertise to this position!

One of the most challenging projects I had the opportunity of being on was migrating and Unifying email users from Lotus Notes to transition to O365. All users must shed their previous email platforms and adopt the Exchange look and feel and of course there is resistance with change. In addition, O365 restricts sending attachments greater than 25 megabytes, which can throw liberal email sharers for a loop. How I was able to overcome the problem as a project manager was to manage user expectations through the transition to avoid backlash and resistance from users familiar with an old way of thinking. By managing this culture shift and introducing new ways of achieving the same result that users expected of the old system — for example, introducing file sharing programs to replace oversized email attachments — the organization can successfully make the transition. I believe in choices and was able to research and offer two different distinct ways for large file sharing such as Dropbox Business and Titan File. This allowed the user to drag and drop files from various sources, and share them securely with your colleagues or clients on the go. I educated the user to Organize their information around people and common context instead of around files and folders, making it easier and more intuitive to find your files over a secure connection and store them encrypted in a secure facility. In essence, succumbed to the pressures but learned and grew from the experience. There's a difference between not succeeding and failing.

Description

The last ERP project I lead was for Wholesale Distribution and they needed to focus on streamlining processes and workflows. First, I specifically implemented the Standard MS Dynamics NAV package as all its modules has been carefully designed by Microsoft after immense research to streamline all the sub-processes of an organization., and that the application parameters have been entered and verified, the basic data files are filled with correct data, and that the users are able and willing to work with the solution. Second, I scheduled a control process that not only continuously monitored during the change process but also anticipated changes in the process to keep things on schedule and within budget. Gathered project requirements to gauge the scope of the project, set success milestones and deliverables, developed a relationship with Clevel execs and our steering committee, performed a risk mitigation per data analysis, optimized allocation of resources and produced a gantt chart to showcase the task timeline. I thoroughly enjoyed my last project with Microsoft NAV because I was able to show new features within the Workflows that can be completed for business requirements. Workflows have a review step and approve step. I trained the client on the use of the workflows created for a graphical view of structure. As the business changed they could edit the organization charts, once its changed, all the rest of the applications connected to it will change as well automatically which is a really cool feature within their interface! Myself and the team was able to complete the project before schedule, we stayed under the budget, we were able to train all users on the NAV software and perform Post implementation for project cleanup and of course documentation through Sharepoint.

I had the opportunity of being on was implementing Advance MD because they liked the unique features in its EHR and practive management for cardiology. Unfortunately the client didn’t have the right resources to create the SOW for the work to be completed. I proactively did the research to make sure that was the correct and most cost effective software for the client and it was indeed the right one. I drew up the SOW/ RFP in less than 24 hours and had our stakeholders sign off on it and I was able to present this to the client as a courtesy. I educated the user on the software and was able to provide a user guide on programmable EHR functions, format their own templates, and accurate customized reporting. All in all I was able to turn the project around into a pleasant and rewarding experience for the client and that’s what I plan to bring to the table with this company.
