As a Site in-charge of ST Microelectronics leading team, coordinating with the team for the day to day activities. Working in hi-end production environment with servers like Sun Solaris, Redhat Linux, Ubuntu and Windows 2003 servers, worked efficiently in takeover of ST Microelectronics and NXP Semiconductor (Wireless Division), and takeover of ST microelectronics as ST ERICSSON. OS installations and troubleshooting of server issues. Worked on OS support for Server build for Android on Ubuntu 8.10.

A High End environment and High end availability Production Environment, with 170 Servers of Solaris, Hp-UX, AIX and Linux Boxes and working knowledge on Veritas Volume Manager. Managing the server security by SSH, SUDO and kernel patch cluster installations on sun boxes and working on server panics and troubleshooting servers to OS and Hardware Level (Finding the root cause of error/crashes) by coordinating with the application owners and database owners in the onsite and resolving the issue and fixing the issue as providing the end-to-end remote administration solutions by coordinating with local H/W vendors to fix the hardware issues on servers. Attending meetings with the customer weekly basis and providing the status of the delivery and working on improving the efficiency of the environment as fault free. Sending reports regularly to the customer like Incident Reports and Outage Report, as these are part of ITSM reference model as updated to the customer.

Site in-charge for the Lucent Technologies IPRC Division, Hyderabad, and my job profile is maintaining the servers (OS, NIS, Apache, Samba and application servers). And also OS installations (Solaris), organizing file systems, creating and administering user accounts in NIS environment, taking system backups of the servers. Patches and packages installation on SUN servers. And as my personal interest I had designed and developed the Lucent Technologies, IPRC-Hyderabad Intranet website http://webhyd.iprc.lucent.com by which got appreciation. And Implemented EMS Lab which is the 2nd Lab in Lucent Technologies first one implemented in Indiana Hills and second one is in Hyderabad with Two Disk Servers and Four Disk Emulators for Lucent Builds Testing Project, which is the part of Indiana Hills and Whippany Lucent Technologies EMS project and made the project online before the target date and got appreciation from the Lucent once again, and also provided the Complete Technical support to the Bangalore EMS Project. As In-charge of Lucent IPRC Hyderabad ASSET MANAGEMENT taken emergency task of making the assets of Lucent ready for the audit. As part of that worked with Lucent Accounts division in Bangalore and Technical Head of Lucent and also with STPI and Customs Departments to make each asset as accountable and made all the assets with Bond Numbers and Asset Numbers.

Worked in a High End datacenter Environment in TTSL, as a Senior Executive in ISIT Corporate, Monitoring mainly data center systems operations in TTSL i.e. Server Administration on various SUN and HP boxes and Scheduling Backups and NOS installations. Working in a leading Telecom Domain Company in Andhra Pradesh have additional roles as running Scripts for data query which are predefined shell scripts on request basis. As a Site In-charge of Indian Customs Hyderabad my responsibilities were maintaining Hyderabad end Cluster environment (Wipro’s Jeeva Cluster) connected to all Indian customs Sites through Chennai as gate way to Delhi. And also maintaining leased lines which are connected to Mumbai, Bangalore, Vizag, Trivendrum and Cochin and working with ISP provider VSNL on any issues and resolving the issues on high priority basis as the business impact is very in Customs as the trade business will be very high. Maintaining the data lines, Cisco routers 2500 series, switches and RAD Modems and tackling the network issues and User related issues in the site and off the site.
