Description

The VAT Reclaim company wantedto move somelegacy applications from on-premise to AWScloud environment for scalabilty and high avaliability. Also, new applications were to be designed as microservices and deployed using kubernetes to avoid the issues faced with legacy applications.

I was a DevOps Engineer (later team lead) wo was involed in creating kubernetes cluster using KOPS since there was no EKS at that time. Also, I created the CI /CD processed for newapps to be deployed using best practices. In addition to this, i was involved in the migration oflegacy applications on Virtual Machines. Other task includes automating tasks using ansible playbooks, enforcing infrastructure as code for the cloud environment and deploying logging/monitoring solutions using technologies as ELK stack, prometheus, grafana etc.
