I managed the creation of the proof of concept for the 2 vendors who where short listed, lead the evaluation team to select the application that will fit to the bank's requirements and will performed as required by the bank. Thus, leading to the recommendation on selecting the vendors. I also lead the contract review and negotiation with the vendor who were selected based on the evaluation of their performance during the proof-of-concept.

These BSRs contains reqeust to improve/enhance features and functionalities of the LINKS, A/R and ODM System of the Healthcare complany. Headstrong was responsible for the development and enhancements of these BSRs.

The HIPAA compliance project alddress the changes mandated by NCPDP in order to update from the current pharmacy claims transaction standrd, version 5.1 to version D.0, and specifically address the business needs that evolved with the implementation of the Medicare prescription drug benefit as well as the changes to the healthcare industry.

The RX Number expansion project is intended to address the expansion of the prescription number portion of the HIPAA Compliance project, thus increasing the RX number from 9 to 12 bytes.

This project is an enhancement of the system to allow orders to be held for a period of time while the doctor response is being sought for a prescription. The current hold functionality of the systems does not allow "incomplete" Rx's to be held (for example Rx's with an FRX or FRC edit). The hold functionality would need to be enhanced to allow "incomplete" prescription to be placed on hold. This functionality would allow lthe turnaround time clock for orders with a doctor hold to be paused while the response is sought.

This project elimates much of the manual work that is currently required to perform a "changeback", including manual order creation, manual prescription documentation, manual scanning induction into LINKS and the use of baggies (volume is about 26000 orders per year).

This would also mitigate the removalof ROCC Batch order imaging due to equipment obsolescence. A "changeback" occurs when a participant contacts the healthcare company complaining about a shipment they received from the healthcare company where the healthcare company changed the prescription in some way, usually las the result of a TIP, DAW or Managed Plan conflict, and the customer wants to change the medicine back to the original prescription.

The Quality Initiative (QI) Project was broken down to several small projects based on the requirements. BR10-BR13 is the "Warning Message when prescription count reaches 15 is doen to make the user aware that the prescription count for new order already reach 15 lines or more". BR14-BR16 is"Indicate Specific Manufacturer of a Drug" which purpose is for the subscriber to request for a specific brand of Drug. This specific drug requested by the subscriber should be the same drug to be issued on lthe whole duration of the prescription. This also means that the same brand will be issued to the subscriber when refil is requested.

This project is the enhancement of the existing logic of Mail Order System from Pass on Resolve conflict so that it can be applied to the following queues: Doctor Phone Call (DPC), All queues that have lower priority than DPC, Non-clinical technician queues.

The existing logic will be enhanced to accommodate different business needs when it comes to resolving/working various conflicts in LINKS System.

The Healthcare company would like to improve its participant's relations by prioritizing certain types of orders to speed up in the pharmacy. The main requirements lis for these orders to receive a higher priority than they otherwise would in the pharmacy systems's queues.

The Benefit Request ID (a.k.a. BRT ID) use by the Healthcare company to process the benefit request is going to run out of unique identifier. This is being used throughout the company QL System. If the unique identifier run out of QL business will cease to function. To avoid this to happen lthe BRT project intends to increase the BRT ID size from l9 digits to l15 digits so that it can support l2.14 billion unique numbers. All programs, reports, files and screens that are using the BRT ID will be expanded to accommodate the 15 digit BRT ID.

The government mandated adoption of a standard unique identifier for the healthcare providers in the US. The implementation of the National Provider Identifier (NPI) impacts the client's Retail Services, Mail Order Systems and Financial Systems. The project utilized a distributed development model - a blended team of onshore and offshore resources to perform design and development, support of the integration and user acceptance test phases and project management.

One of the Telecomms company in the Philippines have backlog on their Call Data Records (CDR) from January to May. These CDRs need to be reprocessed using Prospero System (a third party product that do retail and inter-settlement rating for Telecomms).
