Order to Cash was a new project which was aimed as providing a complete end to end business solution to Dells sales business. This would eventually replace a lot of existing regional applications and provide a universal software solution for all the business regions for Dell.

The scope for my team was to conduct a complete end to end testing.

The main activities involved understanding of the upstream and downstream applications and the complete end to end flow.Test case design and test case execution also involved close coordination which team leads of other applications.

Dellstar is a Sales Tool application which is used for selling Dell Hardware products to Enterprise customers. It helps build configurations using servers, switches and storages and create a quote or the same.This quoteis then sent to the customer.

There were a set of change requests as per business requirements which needed to get deployed every quarter. The main responsibility of the test team was analysis of the change requests, preparation of test cases, execution of test cases, defect tracking, supporting production launches, resolving and analyzing post production issues.

As a team lead, apart from testing related activities I was also involved in preparing estimates, allocation of tasks, project tracking, interaction with development and business teams, mentoring and training of new team members, preparing project statistics.

UFSS (Unisys Financial Services System) is an application package that caters to the administration of mortgages and investments. It is used by some of the leading Mortgage companies in the UK.

The objective of the project was to arrive at a process so as to do performance profiling of the Batch program. My team and myself did the process of doing performance benchmarking and publishing results.

My role as a Team leader was to drive the team and work towards achieving the targets, prepare project plans, estimates, responsible for the quality processes followed in the project, configuration management, client

interaction and mentoring the team.

EAE migration involves migration of UVMS14.1 from LINC16.3 (on A-series) to EAE 3R3 (on Windows 2000). It also involves feature migration of UVMSNA to UVMS 14.1. Similar migration was done for all standard Unisys communication products.

The project mainly involved migration of four of Unisys communications products from a mainframe platform to Windows 2000.Post migration the products were tested rigorously. The testing involved Functional test, System testing, Integration testing, Co-existence test and Performance test.

Apart from this, my role also involved managing and co-ordinating the day-to-day project activities, client interaction, ensuring quality in the project deliverables etc.

The project used an onsite-offshore methodology for the maintenance and request based development of the Ford Credit applications. Client initiated change requests are analyzed and schedules are estimated. Subject to client approval, the onsite and offshore teams are required to deliver the change requests without schedule slippage. Change requests involve programming in LINC language for functional enhancements.

My role was mainly to performfunction testing, system testing, preparation of test plan, co-ordination of quality related activities.
