One-NDS is a centralized subscriber centric geo-redundant database consisting of multiple database nodes and some other components supporting One-NDS functionality, Directory Servers (R-DSA and BE-DSA), Provisioning Gateway (PGW), Notification Manager (NTF), One-NDS Administrator (ADM). The PGW component in the One-NDS platform provides a flexible, standard based approach that enables the integration of an operator’s existing provisioning engines, as well as new application FEs that use One-NDS as a common repository. Provisioning Gateway is the component translating between customer relationship (CRM) and One-NDS directory for storing information about operator’s subscribers. This component takes XML based provisioning messages defined in SPML (Service Provisioning Markup Language) and translates it in a group of LDAP operations to create, modify, search, or delete provisioning data in the directory.
