The program simplifies many small tasks that are necessary for the manipulation and design of protein structures for biomedical applications. The program implements a simple scripting language that allows complex molecular manipulations with simple text directives. These text directives areinspired in the used of regular expressions to make complex modifications to text files, but they work on three dimensional structures.

I performed experiments for the purification of Insulin from e-coli bacteria. I developed the assay, lab procedures, testing and comparison of experimental results to protein models.

I am the sole creator and developer

I evaluated technologies for early cancer detection from liquid biopsies, I created a pipeline for processing protein fragments from mass spectrometry and identifying biomarkers. I made business desitions recommendations given the challenges and limitation of the technologies I was evaluating.

Solubility issues in drug and protein design are an important factor for accurate predictions. For that reason, I developed a Java program that does molecular dynamic simulations (MDS) of water only. We do not fully understand water from a computational/theoretical point of view. I have written the MDS software with the goal of reproducing waters well known properties in simulations.
