Immigration Online system allows clients to apply online for a New Zealand work, visitor or student visa. The visitor form is available in both in English and Chinese languages

Main Responsibilities:

• UAT Test Preparation creating Test Scripts, Test Scenarios and Test Data
• Created and maintained automated scripts for daily smoke testing
• Developed a comprehensive regression test suite built around Tosca, to ensure that new functionality did not adversely compromise the current code
• Maintained automated regression test scripts to ensure quality of code
• Testing Payment Gateway, Processing of Payments (Back End)

• Assist Test Manager with input to detailed test plan, test estimates and test approach for environments and data
• Test end to end flow of data from submission of applications through to backend tables
• Script and execute Smoke, System Integration, Regression and UAT Testing
• Review, record and manage defects in Jira (monitoring defect progress, providing defect analysis and reporting)
• Utilise ReadyAPI tools for testing
• Carry out Business Acceptance testing during deployment to production
• Conducting overviews to new test and business analysts that joined the project team

BI Transition Project

The initiative was to build and implement a BI capability which would offer a single platform for Chorus' decision support needs, deployed on a Chorus network infrastructure and turn data into information

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop ETL Scripts based on technical specification/ data design documents
• Perform ETL/Data warehouse back end testing and BI Intelligence reports testing

NSI (National Student Index) is a database maintained by MOE. The purpose of the application is to allocate a unique identifier, the National Student Number, to every student enrolled in an education provider in New Zealand. The objective of project was to provide a new web interface and replace the existing software.

Main Responsibilities:

• Prepare Integration Test Cases
• Review requirements and provide feedback to Business Analyst
• XML, SOAP, REST Testing
• Defect Logging, tracking and retesting using JIRA
• Automation of regression suite using SOAP UI
• Mentor new team member
• Use SQL for further testing
