  • Managed the entire QA department for our software applications (public web applications available on desktop and mobile). This included setting the department strategy, managing tools/projects/resources, procuring outside vendors and tools, and regular meetings with the executive staff to present proposals for improvement and updates on projects
  • Taught the QA team about risk-based testing and how to manage risk in their projects by working with stakeholders across the entire cross functional team
  • Managed relationships with multiple outside vendors including selecting appropriate vendors, establishing contracts, and regular follow up meetings to escalate issues or request improvements.
