Project 1: Performance Testing of PLC Application

PLC is a logistic application which engages the fuel stations with the planners by placing different kinds of trips on trucks with the required quantities of different fuels. PLC helps carriers in more than 38 countries safely and profitably delivers over 360 million liters of fuel and petroleum products to their destinations every day.

Responsibilities:

• Deployment of test environment and its readiness
• Monitoring the Production environment and Support
• Sprint tickets review and identifying the Performance scope and deriving test plan from scope
• Custom scripts preparation using Jmeter
• Test plan preparation and Results review
• Delegating the daily tasks to all team members
• Participating in SCRUM ceremonies and update the project status and blockers in daily scrums
• Identifying the individual team member performance and give the information to Manager
• Reproducing the production issues on Test environment and providing the recommendations

MyShip application is used by MACYS Inc. associates to print shipping labels for store fulfillment packages for carriers like UPS/USPS. In order to expand store fulfilment to almost all 800 store locations, the process was simplified and moved from the mainframe to mobile and desktop platforms. MyShip allows us to ship packages via UPS and USPS and is also the final step to close out fulfillment orders. Once a fulfillment package is scanned through My Ship, Macy‘s charges the customer, and lets them know their package is on the way.

IWM is a store application consisting of SPManager, Fulfillment, Handheld applications which manage work state for the associates as well as the order state. Each event is integrated with the downstream teams. Store Associate takes a task and processes it and assign to down to fulfill the order delivery.

The Live Online Lending Application (LOLA) is multi brand application designed to assist business across Westpac and St. George to provide a consistent data capture experience by providing them a user interface to retrieve customer, product, and security for the existing customer group Banker will be able to provide facility, Top up and extend Facility for existing Customers, the empower bankers provide fast decisions for Business Lending applications

The Common Reporting Standard (CRS) is the single global standard for the collection, reporting and exchange of financial account information on foreign tax residents. Under it, banks and other financial institutions will collect and report to us financial account information on non-residents.

Same Day Delivery is one of the major enhancements of kohls.com ecommerce solution to provide the ability to deliver an item on the same day when the order is placed. ​This is a best feature to the customers to give assurance to deliver the product on the same day. Inventory of the product on area (geographical location) plays a major role on this Project. So, we have introduced a separate Get Inventory services for the inventory check. Currently 5% of whole Orders are SDD.

Building on the phenomenal Store sales growth experienced in 2014, Kohl's Inc. hopes to continue the upward trajectory by offering our customers more flexibility in the ways to shop our stores. In order to keep the momentum going in 2015, Kohl’s planned to offer dotcom customers a Buy Online, Pick-Up in Store (BOPUS) option. With 800+ store fulfillment locations deployed in 2014, and another 500 more planned for 2015, both brands believe that they will have the systems, coverage, and operations in place to offer a quality BOPUS customer ​experience.

• Detected many performance bottlenecks and reported to development team and again validated and certified without performance degradations post fix
• Created and implemented many changes in Release script (Home page to Place Order) of Kohls.com to simulate the actual activity of an end user
