Description: Nedbank has embarked upon the Client 360 Program – Extended Client View Project and has recognized the need of a managed evolution IT approach to respond to the changing market conditions which will benefit Nedbank to achieve its business goals. The aim of the Extended Client View project is to consolidate the customer data of all business units into one single Customer Hub to maintain master customer information in a proactive and sustained way. The aim of the Extended Client View Stream project is to create and maintain unique, complete and accurate customer information across the enterprise and to utilize “trusted” customer insight during all customer interactions across all business units. The key objective of the current ongoing phase of this project is to enable de-couple Hogan CIS by re-directing all the CIS interfaces to MDM..

Description: The purpose of Swift standard 2018 release includes changes due to regulation that require additional

information to be transported in the messages to support the requirements of international markets.

New features to support evolving business processes and new financial instruments to promote

greater consistency in the use of messages and thereby improve less interventions from the

users. Major changes to category 7 messages to facilitate automation and reduce enquiries. The scope

of this project is to do integration testing for Swift, NGS, Saffy, Safewatch, ACL, GL and China System.

The Nedbank Business release project consisted of the internet banking application for Nedbank used by itsbusiness and corporate clients. The client (profiles) was created and administered on CAP. Through thisapplication, business clients could enquire their statements, whether balances, payments and transfers madewere successful or not. Single or batch Payments and transfers could be created. Beneficiaries of the clientscould also be administered from this application. The Authorization functionality existed for a security orsegregation of duties function ensuring that all payments and transfers made were actually not madeseparately but in agreement with other business stakeholders so as to ensure minimum financial business riskand loss. Certain Admin functions also exist to minimize the necessity to rely on Nedbank support staff thatwere available only during office hours.
